Stern · 2005 · Modern Stern (2000 to now)
Design: George Gomez · Art: Kevin O'Connor
George Gomez followed The Lord of the Rings with The Sopranos, built in February 2005 on the same revised Whitestar board. The game plays the show's theme, "Woke Up This Morning", and uses the real voices of the cast, including James Gandolfini as Tony, Edie Falco, Lorraine Bracco, Steven Van Zandt, Dominic Chianese and Vincent Pastore. Kevin O'Connor drew the art. The toys come straight from the show, with pole dancers, a talking fish head, a safe and Tony's boat, and it serves four balls. In an odd footnote, a few test games were built on Stern's newer S.A.M. board, sent overseas, then brought back, converted to Whitestar and sold.

Should come with it
Hard to find if missing
Check the listing photos against these lists, and ask the seller about anything you can’t see. A missing toy, glass or key should come off the price.
The CPU board batteries are the main risk, as on every Whitestar game. After that, make sure the fish head, pole dancers and other toys all work in test.
Buying your first one? Red flags in a pinball listing covers the photos and videos to ask for, and modern Stern versus 90s Bally and Williams covers how newer games differ.
We haven’t been through this game’s listings yet. Search eBay and run every listing through the checklist above. Ask for a video of a full game, a photo of the CPU board and photos of the playfield in good light, and ask what’s been replaced. Pass on any seller who won’t answer.
